Pathfinder is a career-guidance platform operated by Upscalebd Ltd. ("Upscalebd," "we," "us"), a company registered in Bangladesh. We help students and professionals discover suitable career paths and build job-ready CVs using AI. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in line with applicable laws of Bangladesh, including the Information and Communication Technology Act, 2006 and the Digital Security Act, 2018.

We only collect the data we need to provide and improve Pathfinder. The categories of personal data we collect include:

• Run your career assessment and generate personalized recommendations.
• Build, optimize, and export your CV, including AI-assisted tools.
• Process one-time payments and manage your credits.
• Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve the platform.
• Comply with our legal obligations under Bangladeshi law.

To deliver recommendations, skill scores, and CV suggestions, your assessment and CV content is processed by AI models, which may include trusted third-party AI providers. This processing is limited to delivering the features you request. AI outputs are provided for guidance only and may be imperfect — you decide how to use them.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers — hosting, payment processing, AI, and analytics — who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• Authorities or other parties, where required by Bangladeshi law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and Pathfinder.

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can clear your assessment data at any time from within the app, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may retain limited records (such as transaction history) where required by law.

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable Bangladeshi law, you may:
